Jim is a veteran Nationally Registered Paramedic of over 23 years, holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, a Master's Degree in Higher Education and is a Wilderness EMS instructor for SOLO. Prior to coming to San Juan, he was the Program Manager for the Cleveland Clinic's School of EMS. He is Past President of the San Juan County Chiefs' Association and is an active member of the San Juan County EMS Council. National EMS Management Association, National Association of EMTs, and National Association of EMS Physicians. He is a popular instructor at state and regional EMS events on the topic of remote and wilderness EMS. Jim and his family enjoy spending time together, bicycling, camping, boating, and listening to Celtic music.
