Current Island Life: EMT; WEMT; neighborhood homeowners association administrator; co-owner (with husband Francis) of 2 cats, one of whom can open doors and thinks he’s a dog, volunteer firefighter (engine driver-pump operator-vehicle & rope rescue); Past Island Life: fire commissioner; property management company owner; real estate appraiser; real estate broker. Pre-Island Life: corporate wienie (Honeywell-15 years); radio newscaster (WHOT Ohio); newspaper reporter (Pittsburgh Tribune & Mercer Gazette). Life: sailed Hawaii to Seattle; bicycle raced in velodrome; parachuted from perfectly good airplanes; took cruise ship up coast of Norway; climbed mountains; continue to cruise islands; 30+ years with Francis.
