Director of Outreach & Education/Community Paramedicine – Lainey Volk

Lainey leads our efforts in injury and accident education and prevention here at EMS. She has received numerous awards for her efforts in heading up our public education campaign, teaching thousands in CPR and first aid, and coordinating our car seat and helmet program. In her spare time, she enjoys sailing, flying and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ian Randall

Ian is a great sport, especially when it comes to the 3am calls. Inbetween work and being a father of two young boys Ian likes to spend time riding his bicycle, dancing, playing games of all kinds, making pizza and Lego creations with his toddler.

Michael Hartzell

Michael Hartzell, NREMT has been an EMT since 2013 and on San Juan Island since the mid 90’s.  Michael enjoys being an EMT so that he can give back to his community.  Michael works full time as a fire fighter with District 3 Fire on San Juan Island.
