CPR & First Aid Classes

How to Receive or Renew your CPR/First Aid Certification

Due to the restrictions on meetings, San Juan EMS is not currently holding in-person classes for new or renewing CPR and First Aid certifications.   Instead, you can go to https://elearning.heart.org/ to take the written portion of the class online. Once you have completed that, please call Peggy at San Juan EMS, 360-378-5152 ext 103.  She will schedule for an in-person skills test.  Please call if you have any questions.

Lives are lost daily nationwide from incidents involving heart attack, drowning, choking or electric shock. The steps taken to aid the victim seconds following such an incident can mean the difference between life and death.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the best training to have to try to help someone in an extreme situation when that person has stopped breathing. Learning this basic first-aid technique can help you give a friend, a loved one or a stranger a second chance for life.
