Larry Wall Joins EMS Team in June

Larry Wall, BA/BSN, RN, CFRN, CEN has accepted the newly created position of Director of Critical Care Transport for Island Air ambulance and will add to the existing administrative team in June.

Larry will be coming from the Chicago, IL area where he worked as the Chief Flight Nurse and Base Manager for a regional air medical service.

Larry began his medical career as a Ski Patroller and Wilderness First Responder. The outdoors continues to be a great passion for him, and he looks forward to all of the opportunities that exist here in the San Juan Islands along with his wife who is also an RN, their 1 year old son and 14 year old daughter who loves horses.

Larry will oversee our CAMTS accreditation process across the agency with specific attention on our fixed wing air medical operations.  He will also manage the daily operations of Island Air Ambulance and provide patient care during critical care transports when needed.  Welcome Larry and family to the island!
